On Tuesday,
August 16, 2005 the Lake Vista Property Owners Association held a
special meeting to update residents on the proposed Condominium Development
on Wren Street. A presentation was made by the owners of the property
regarding their proposal to build residential condominiums at the
site of the Wren Street Apartments. Additional issues and concerns
were addressed on behalf of the surrounding neighbors regarding the
project’s impact on adjacent homes. A question and answer period
followed.
While the LVPOA Board cannot take a position on the proposed project
without detailed plans and specifications, we have asked for feedback
from our members regarding three issues of concern, the proposed building
height as described by the developer at 45 feet roof height plus rooftop
covered stairwell, the proposed density of 36 units, and the proposed
building mass.
The following

our bylaws: 73 eligible members voted as follows:

The Property Owners Association will continue to monitor the status
of the project through the planning stage and will prepare to take
a position once detailed plans and specifications are submitted. Thank
you to all of our members who have taken time to participate in this
process and please continue to communicate your comments, questions
and concerns to the Board.
